This is the sound-producing element which produces loud sharp and shrill sounds. There is no special hole which is man-made engraved on the surface to make the sound. It's the beauty of nature that it's created from the ocean surface. The ayurvedic use of this Shankhas is to treat ailments related to life and health too.
